must be really associated with the major applicant who is a qualified foreign national, a permanent resident, or a citizen;
Must be qualified to apply as the spouse of a qualifying foreign national or as a candidate for in-Canada sponsorship; and

Are not barred from entering Canada due to a criminal record or a medical condition.
